Crap. I hated Egypt as soon as I landed in there. The instant difference in temperature - the temperature inside the airplane, and the temperature outside, in Egypt - well, that really gave me a bad impression about the country.
Anyway, I was keen on visiting the pyramids and sphynx. I had also planned on a visit to the nile. The infinite amount of heat, and the sand.. and everything else - well that really didn't fit me as a teddy.
Sure, the pyramids are wonderful, and so are the HUGE mysterious monuments in Egypt. But well, I don't really know... Egypt... Egypt... Hmm... Anyway, well, it wasn't bad, nor was it one of my best visits.
The nile's a huge stretch of water. Just water and water. Ok, it's impressive by it's size and length and the amount of water flowing in it. But yes, it's just a river. Also, in this country too, fashion meets culture. Which means: there's just sand, and people wearing monochrome clothing. Duh. Oh well, yeah, of course, the heat and everything doesn't allow for much variation in people's clothes. Anyway... *sigh*
I checked out some museums, with 5000-year old artifcats, I checked out shops with egyptian necklaces and weird stuff... And I think the only thing that was okay in Egypt was the perfume shops. That's pretty much what I bought. Egyptian perfumes. And well, with that, I concluded my visit of Egypt.
