The next destination that I chose is Taiwan. I know it is a complete change from Canada. But I wanted to see some asian babes. The weather in Taiwan was not too cold or too warm when I landed. I came out of the International Airport of Taipei which is also the capital city of Taiwan.
Taipei is also the largest city of Taiwan. On the picture you can observe the fabulous places I visited, above you see the temples I have visited.
The official language in Taiwan is Mandarin and the currency of the country is the New Taiwan Dollar.
Taiwan is actually the name given to the groups of islands, Matsu, Kinmen and Pescadores.
I heard that the best time in the year to visit Taiwan is October and November. The bad time to travel in Taiwan is during the Chinese New Year which is usually start of February unless you want to have a lot of people around you. The country is very busy during this period. I will for sure hate it to be surrounded with a lot of people.
Taiwan is also given the name of Mountainous Island. Taiwan is a quite mountainous country with a large number of mountains over three thousand meters. Some of the interesting places that I myself visited are, Yushan National Park, the Kinmen Park, and National Palace Museum where you can discover the Chinese history. In Taiwan, I learned a lot about the Chinese Culture. But believe me it was not easy to get a Taiwan girl invited for a dinner, may be I look like an Alien for them.
In Taipei, I also saw the Eighteen Kings Temple, Guanyin Mountain, the Lin Family Gardens and Yingge Old Street.
My visit in Taiwan was a great experience and the Chinese people are very welcoming and helpful.
