The San Francisco Golden bridge (see the pic) is so... it's so... it's just a bridge, dammit. Well, yeah, it's kinda long, and impressive. But that's just a bridge. What I really liked during my visit to San Francisco was the Alcatraz prison. Now, that was something. It's an Island prison. Well it's not like they just drop people onto the island by a helicopter (that would've been pretty nice) and expect them to sort their own shit out (they might be future Robinson Crusoe's) - The Alcatraz prison was a military fortification, somewhere where prisoners during the Spanish-American prison were kept. Later on, it was transformed into a top-security federal prison.
Of course, it's no more what it used to be. But only the Alcatraz island is worth the visit to San Francisco. Not the golden bridge, heh...
There were also a few other interesting things in San Francisco, namely the Telegraph hill, The Beach Chalet, and Filmore Street (that's where all the Shopping happens).
Also, I must mention that many big big companies have their headquarters in San Francisco, namely CNET, Dolby Labs, Macromedia, Levi Strauss & Co, Sega of America, Bank of the West, the Wired Magazine, and many many more.
Oh, and yes... San Franciso is also filled with Nude Beaches. I guess that's why I had to extend my stay over there for about a week or two. Really... with all travelling stress and having to write all of this, I really could resist a quick naked suntan on the North Baker Beach. I also checked out the Fort Funtson Beach, and the Golden Gate Beach where clothing is "optional". Fucking hell, I really felt on holidays during that time. Now - THAT was paradise.
